Coaching at Sunrise gives me the opportunity to integrate athletics with faith. Athletics can be self-centered. When we remember that God is the One who gives us the talents and the opportunities to develop and express those talents, athletics can be a way to deepen our relationship with God and bring honor to him. At Sunrise, everyone participates and is a valuable part of the team. 

 I love that I get to help kids improve on their personal best times from week to week and year to year. I love that our kids get to earn medals and posters while running against the best competition in the area!  I love that I am not only allowed but encouraged to share my faith with my athletes and how it relates to running and life.
